We are pleased to take part in the Truth in Labeling Pledge for Natural Products.
We Believe, most of our products meet the guidelines for the seal.
However, we have not been able to verify two of our raw ingredients from our distributors. For this reason, you will notice that any products containing Rose or Jasmine Essential Oil (as found in English Rose Garden, Oriental Jasmine or Grandmother's Garden products) do not have this seal. Once we have received confirmation regarding the natural production of these oils; we will update the above products to carry the Truth in Labeling Pledge.
Our Soaps will not be labeled with the seal. Although we believe our soaps to be pure and natural (as they contain no artificial colorings, fragrances or preservatives) we do in fact add glycerin during the production process. Therefore, they are excluded from the Truth in Labeling criteria. Which states additional glycerin cannot be added.
So, is our soap "Natural"?
We believe, the combination of conserving all the glycerin and adding glycerin during the production process, is benifical to skin softening. Furthermore, because glycerin is considered a naturally sourced ingredient, we do not believe this detracts from the purity of our soap or the integrity of our natural line of products.
